Yes you are correct. I've had a couple street driven nitrous Bowtie vehicles in the mid to low 9's. Big learning curve for me on the Mopar suspension setups. My cousin has a crank driven F1 supercharged 1100hp pump gas LS Trans Am. I want to shut him up.
Guys,
I want help to accumulate a parts list to build a robust 727 Torqueflite for my 1966 Satellite with boosted 426ci 6.4 BGE hemi. The engine should make 900-1000hp on a streetable pump gas tune. The car will mostly be street driven with occasional trips to the strip. I was thinking about...
My build:
426ci build for boost, single 88mm turbo. This will be a street/strip 66' Satellite.
6.4 BGE block, ARP head and main studs.
Manley 4.050 4340 crank
Molnar PWR ADR 6.125 billet rods (2.00 rod journal, .927 pin, ARP2000 bolts)
Mahle 2618 forged pistons with gas ports (1mm, 1mm, 2mm...

Guys I just purchased a unmolested 1968 B-body Dana 60. It has 3.54:1 gearing and sure grip. It is missing the brake hardware and drums but the backing plates are installed. How much is this be worth? I really would like to trade for a 66-67 B-body Dana 60.
Dodge330, You can definitely run a 125 shot without much worries. I may run a NOS Top Shot system which is pretty sneaky. Call NOS the 125 system or Power Shot they deem safe for stock motors with cast Pistons. Is your car a full...
Dodge330,
My 1966 Plymouth Satellite 2-door hardtop shares some of the same attributes as your build which affirms the performance potential. Wow, 11.30 is definitely getting it with that mild camshaft and gear. Nice job!! As you can see below my hydraulic roller carries the low to mid 230 @...
You paid someone to do that crap! If I could not weld any better than that I would absolutely be embarrassed to charge someone. I am truly surprised you were not killed looking at that junk. Find a professional this time. Was the cage certified? If so how?

Badvert65,
Are you running SS springs on your car? On my 66" Satellite I used the Mancini adjustable and modified to fit my application. I am running XHD springs, Rancho 9 way adjustable shocks, 2 degree pinion shims, and aftermarket front spring hanger. My car is a dedicated street car with...
