    Problem is the top gland is retained by the tube being compressed into the groove in the gland.... How do you disassemble the cylinder without destroying it? And since the rod eye is not removable from the rod you can't service the rod seal without disassembling the cylinder.... Buy new...

    lol sorry, I know yall are screaming it’s the battery and I appreciate it! I hooked up the multimeter and watched it go from 13.56 to 4.56 when I turned the ignition

    I scored an NOS grille for my 72 Satellite wagon a few years back at Carlisle. I asked the guy "satellite?" He half rolled his eyes and says "yes but it won't fit a road runner". "I know. I have a wagon, it's the same as mine". His eyes lit up, I could see the 'i don't have to take it home!'...

    It's weird but as a shop, people will tell you to put starters and alternators in their cars all day long. They hate the idea of buying a battery so much that the thought won't cross their mind. It's a pattern I'm trying to figure out

    You could try OC Cars - They’re in Orange County - Either Lake Forest or Mission Viejo. I brought my X there a number of times. They pretty much do it all for classics. Not cheap but the only place I could find around here that seemed to know the drill with old iron.
