Which would explain why it didn’t seem to want to fit the door cylinder. I haven’t used a Chrysler key in over 30 years, so I guess I forgot which hole to stick it in. Are the round keys trunk only? If so, that’s a shame as my trunk cylinder is MIA.

I know it wasn’t original. From the mounting holes, it looks like it was a Mopar “Go Wing”. If the pic uploads, you can see the holes and why I wish the trunk lid could be saved. I assume those are factory assembly line markings in yellow.

Since you guys are able to help so easily, here’s another “issue” I’ll have to correct. The car was towed to the track by the front bumper. It caused damage to the metal strip above the bumper and below the grille. I have no clue what this part is called and haven’t found any listing for it...

We’ve had this very concern. If fully restored, how can I relax driving it anywhere? I’ve even considered putting the engine/trans in storage and putting non-original parts in so I don’t have to worry about throwing a rod if I want to play. But to keep it as a survivor, the front fenders...

Good advice. I think this is the approach to take - get it where I want it, then blow it apart and do it right. I’m just torn on taking it to how it was originally built, how it left the dealership (which would include a trunk wing), or how it was raced with the dual quad setup.
