Thanks for speaking up and especially for the great photos. I understand much clearer now what they really look like and how the hoses attach. Looks like two small holes get drilled to the bottom of the dash and the two bolts secure them. Thanks!

This is a developing project but the current thought is that everything in the AC system will be aftermarket except the four vents inside. Yes, under the hood would look nothing like stock and I’m okay with that. Inside would look very 1966 except that the switch’s wouldn’t be accurate. Fan off...

Come on down!! Would love to have someone to go rumble around the hood with. Extremely quiet down here. Big retirement community here so everywhere I go people in their 60s and older are happy to come up and see the car. It reminds them of their youth.

Okay, so I’m back at it. Yes, the fronts rub only on the chrome trim but I can pull the crank away from it (for the most part) as I crank it over the trim. Less than ideal. Yes, there are very thin black plastic washers but don’t know that they actually do anything to help. Curious if I can...

Yeah. I visited it and got some answers. Just trying to find out exactly how the inside would have looked as built. Don’t see green as an interior color option for a gold 66 Coronet. It’s in great shape and looks fine. Just trying to determine accuracy.
