Wow, I've never looked at those pins. I think you'll have to make something if I understand correctly. Those little springs are not easy to find, but if you can definitely make some out of sprung wire if you have an example.
Yeah, R/T is correct about there being a leak somewhere. I had one of my lift cylinders start to "weep" and my pump got really loud with the air bubbles. Look for a little oil spot under the lift cylinders....and along the lines, especially the fittings, while you're at it
