    Fender installation.

I am ready to install the fenders, permanently. I seem to recall some caulking between the fender and inner splash shield. Is this correct? If so , what product is recommended. My FSM says nothing about sealing but, I would think it should be sealed to keep water splash out at the top joint. Any...

Hi fellas, I bought a repop Penta star for the right fender and wondered how much paint/filler was in the holes. I never installed one before so I would like to open up the holes if necessary. Do these use a push nut or just a interference fit? Thanks! Mike

I used a medium/dark gray self etching primer after scuffing the trim, two light coats per the can instructions. Primed Thursday. The argent was also two light coats per the...

My method for trunk seal removal.

Hi fellas, I have been removing the trunk weather stripping on my new 65 Coronet and have come up with a procedure that works well: peel off the bulk of the rubber and then-in 6"/8" sections-heat with a heat gun and scrape the rest of the rubber off. I cut some Oak strips from a 1" board (about...
