I used the scarebird swap on my 67 same parts as qkcuda, I went with the 10.75 lincoln rotors , the do fit a 14" steel wheel. I have had no problems with the set up. Stops great. Pretty easy install.

If you do pull that crank pulley mark it and the balancer for re assembly.

Drop bases are fine but as mentioned you have to watch for fuel inlet and trans linkage room. My 67 coronet has the 2191 preformer , the 1/4" thick heat resistant fiber base gasket. Thermoquad and a 3" air cleaner regular base. I still have a little over 1" of clearance.

pnora gave you a good list, along with a good set of hand tools. I have to double stress the cleaning brush set. Never take anyone's word that it's done. Clean all oil passages your self then do it again.
