Does it look like the head pipes are old? Possibly originals? Have they been added onto down by the transmission or the like. I am thinking that if the passenger's manifold was replaced, a new head pipe could have been made to fit the system. If the pipe from the manifold back is one piece, the...

They are cast into the side of the manifold. According to the book they should be LH #2465719 and RH #2843953. It is possible yours were changed at one time so you do need to check.

Make sure you go with 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 even if it's a 318. 2 1/4 all the way back is good or 2 1/2 with 2 1/4 tail pipes is good too. I don't like 2" on anything.
