Who is going to Chrysler Carlisle and where ya at?

I'll stop by and say hello again this year. Would you happen to have a good voltage regulator for a 71 Road Runner 383.

I got to see what a major stroke looks like.

I work a few days/nights a month at a independent living community. Just covering for employees who call in sick or have vacation days. It pays for car parts. During the days I drive these people to their doctors appointments, at night I man the front desk and keep an eye on things. Mostly I...

    1968 coronet 500

Can someone tell me what the differences are between a 1968 Coronet 500 and the other versions of the 1968 Coronet? Saw one for sale recently. Thanks!

    Impressive!!!

Give them credit: they did it with a car. They wasn't stupid and did it with a 5 ton Hummer, like GM.

    Are 11" brakes desirable?

That brake system on the semis was forced on the trucking industry in about 1975. It was called the 121 anti lock system. I went to Mack school in Allentown in 1978. Theirs was hydraulic over air disc. The whole trucking industry took a big hit for following the government mandate. We rear ended...

    If replacing alternator, which amperage?

Bob, If you insist on commenting and deriding information presented by certain members with an opinion that it doesn't meet your *imaginary standards, I feel that it's only fair that we unleash the keeper of the correct use of punctuation, capitalization and spelling of the English Language for...

    Rich kid cars.

Back when I turned 16, I remember a few guys my age got new cars. Datsun 280ZX, 2nd gen Trans Am, Bronco… I wasn’t impressed with any of them. I’m still not. And have to laugh at someone paying $50k and up for those T/A’s.

    Deep hum, not drone, cruising

So what exactly did you change to cause the drone? Full exhaust including headers and added a H or X?

    1969 Road Runner preservation

Thank you. Yes, I have some chips and mostly fine scratches in 59 year old original gold paint. They don't offer gold. Maybe Yellow or Pearl? I'm sure I could color sand or aggressively cut and buff. But I really don't want to remove paint. Catch 22 there.

    Harland Sharp oiling issue?

...DC/Mopar was supposed to fix the issue but never did. The only way those rockers would get oil to the valve tips and pushrods were if they were 180* to the head so the oil holes would match up. Simple fix on the shafts after that discovery was to grind grooves from the existing holes to where...

    Deep hum, not drone, cruising

Yeah I could have mentioned that little tidbit... Before this, as I bought it, the car had rusty unknown brand headers, 2.25" true duals, and some type of Walker mufflers. No H or X pipe. It had a purple cam that was happiest at 3000 rpm and above, and a carb. That was probably the only difference.
