As long as the initial conversion was done with all new components I can't believe it would corrode as you say? If any DOT 3 was left in the system that may have drawn in the moisture.

Dot 5 fluid does not absorb moisture, but it doesn't prevent it from getting into the system, and causing rust if it does. How new were the cylinders etc. I would top it off with DOT 5 and investigate after the weekend.
You probably don't know how it was converted to dot 5 and if wheel cylinders were replaced to use dot 5. I have a 05 ram PU and had a front caliper freeze up, and destroy the rotor, so I replaced both fronts rotors, calipers and pads. I noticed new calipers uses some sort of plastic piston...
They say because of my rather common name my gun background checks take longer.
I was debating changing my name to Big Bomb, but quickly realized getting paged at the airport or on the airplane would become problematic.

I follow you on the 1.12's, Borgeson, UCA's but not the Qa1 adjustable push rods. I have the steering rods from Qa1... I have not had one on the rack to check elevated vs ride height toe changes. I suppose going to a Heim style rod end open up multiple way to lower the outer tie Rod End. Clarify?
The cam is ground on a 103 intake C/L and a 115 exhaust C/L. So it's 109 LCA straight up. 103 Intake C/L would be 6 degrees advanced. If it's weak down low you certainly don't want to retard it.

Never mind on the foam gaskets - 2 diff, 4 foam and 4 metal. I dug them out of my spare gasket box, sometimes it's good to be a spare parts collector/ hoarder.
