Used WEAK fridge magnet to check for bondo around rear window, GLAD I did found a lil more right under a spot I'd already addressed. Magnet stayed put on the rest..

Got the window channels fine tuned and steel mesh behind the rust hole for body man in a can removal & leading after I get the welding all done....just waiting to hear back from the welder ...:jackoff:
Finished fabbing up latch patch... Do NOT attept this without a bolt n nut attached...keeps the patch from dropping dow between the latch panel and the reenforcement strut..ask me how I know...12" steel rule with aluminum body tape saved the day...UGH! :lowdown:
Got these fabbed up...driverside is rock solid,pass is not rusted thru but THIN in spots ...I just made both to be...symmetrical ... the mustang hood leftover came in handy...AGAIN...:lowdown:
Fabbed up the door latch patch today, Made it from my 93 LX MUSTANG hood. It's from the part I cut out to make hole for the shaker I put on the intercooler ...
Got the upper corner pieces cut n placed. Lowers were not pristine but still structurely sound, to replace them would have required a LOT of metal seperation in the 1/4 and dutchman panel area so I'm leaving them alone, blasted them clean n painted with weld thru primer. Also removed heater, box...
Got the patchs cut and placed ...they're from a 4 door Coronet that was being parted out ... waiting on lower corner patch panels froms JEGS to get here tomorrow. Bummer I have to cut em up for just the window channels. I left 1/8" of the roof on patch panel then radiused the leading edge in...
The diff between the front n rear sills is not drastic but evident...only thing I can think is maybe rear 1/2 was out from under a car port or rear glass was put in on a fri ???
I've been working on window sills and repair...hinges were worn out so instead of fixn them the P.O's just slamed the door harder. Broke spot welds inthe F.Driver side door window tracks spot welds n beat the heck out of the door jam and latch areas. Door is savable "cracks" but somewhere along...
