You want 2k primer to set for at least 2 weeks to get the shrinkage out of it. Yes longer it sets the better before sanding.

I keep forgetting that I have a set of those David Wise books. He says bare steel for the clamps and hangers. Bolts for the hangers and the dual exhaust hanger plate that goes thur the floor are black metal oxide. Plate welded to the body painted same as car.

Ok for the hangers, are the standard exhaust clamp the same?

Hi, on a factory exhaust clamp what would the finish have been In 68? I see some of the reproduction systems out there have bare steel and others have nickel plated. Which would be correct? Thanks!

My car came without any wiring. Trying to understand the path of reverse wire path down to the trans. ECS has the reverse light harness brackets (pic below). Can someone help out with the location of these on the car. I didn't see them when replacing the metal or note their locations. Or...
