Thank you Sir but the switch I have is already too long. It needs to be shorter in order to work properly.

    Neutral Safety Switch nightmare

Hi All, Looking to find out if anyone can lead me to where I can find the correct NSS for my 1975 727. The one I bought from Napa (which is listed as the correct one?) works fine except it will not allow the backup lights to operate. I did a search and finally found an older thread where...

Has anyone upgraded their taillights to LED's?

Just finished installing Digitails in my '69 Coronet yesterday. Purchased from Classic as Digitails stated 8-12 weeks out. Got them from classic in a week. I gotta tell you I am VERY impressed with the results. Very good quality and instructions. I had previously installed just the LED...

    Digitails tail lights

Thanks for your reply davek. Looks like my order was cancelled by Digi-Tails (according to my CC company) although I have not received a response to my email to them. Impossible to contact them by phone. Called Classic Ind and asked if they actually had the kits in their warehouse and she said...

    Digitails tail lights

I just placed an order with Digitails for tail lights for my '69 Coronet 500. I've never bought anything directly from them before so I didn't have an account with them. After placing the order I received an email confirmation from them on which was stated that there is a 8-12 week lead time...

    Odd Carb Issue

Today’s gas will begin to boil at around 100 degrees so yes I would pretty much bet on it.

    Odd Carb Issue

You might try installing a phenolic heat separation spacer between the carb and manifold to negate fuel percolation.

Ideas needed to help kill door rattles

I put 80 mil Kilmat in both doors a year ago and was amazed at well it worked. I found that the pop rivet in the bracket that is attached to the lower end of the front glass track was very loose and that the little spot weld above it had failed allowing the bracket to flop around on the post...

My '69 Coronet has one in each fender about one inch from the corner.

    Mystery rattle help

Yes, I did that when I removed some material from the heads of the bolts. I'm thinking I may have just not gotten enough thread locking compound on the bolts when I first installed them. Time will tell I guess.

    Mystery rattle help

I made sure the the converter snout fit in the crank before I assembled the engine so shouldn't be an issue.

Ideas needed to help kill door rattles

The old stuff was looking pretty ratty so I removed it and slit some rubber vacuum line tubing to replace it.

    Mystery rattle help

Thanks for the input. So, I put the car up on blocks (no hoist) , hooked up my remote start switch and my buddy and I crawled underneath, pulled the dust shield and did a visual inspection. Everything looked perfect. I crawled out and fired it up and then crawled back underneath to what I...

    Remote oil filter question

Thanks All. After doing some research on line I found that I had indeed flipped the oil lines. The problem was that I followed the directions included with the kit that were verbal only (no dwgs or pictures) and it didn't work... or I interpreted them incorrectly which at my age is a distinct...
