Easy outs is what I first thought of and was wondering why it took so long for someone to mention. Not all of us have welders on hand (but we should...)
Incandescent bulbs themselves don’t get dimmer with time. They get dimmer with reduced voltage or due to dirty lenses.

About five years too late for Sonny, but the corvette "tripower" carbs will work fine on a 440.
The problem is, the corvette carbs, at one time , were cheaper, and more available, than the mopars. Not anymore. Now ALL the 2300 2bbl holleys are nuts.

At least you won't be in jeopardy of the door ruining the trim.
Try 521 restorations.
They have some pretty oddball trim clips.
advanced for bottom end & retarded for top end,
the cam having that spec already ground in it at 4* advanced
I'd think Comp Cams had that already figured in the equation...
there's a great episode on Engine Masters on MotorTrend or Tubi
that dives into that very subject, what happens when it's...
THE most menacing looking car on this forum (imo) is Black Sheep's All black GTX, with black wheels big black tires, and dog dishes. Pure badass!
I like dog dishes, use em on my cars, sometimes. But I also have a couple sets of centerlines, and torque thrusts that I rotate. So, I guess I'm on...
