71 GTX hood release cable clip

Sorta tough to see, touching the cable with my flat blade. Comes out of the fire wall under the master cylinder closer to the fender.

71 GTX hood release cable clip

Putting the last details on my car and just put in the hood release cable and hood latch mechanism. It looks like there should be a clip to attach the cable to the lower part of the latch. What does it look like and where can i find one?

CVF racing and Cold case radiator with electric fans... anyone running them?

I noticed in post #9 you linked to the SPAL electric fans that you are using. Looks like they are puller fans but you have them mounted to the front of the radiator. I understand pushers go in the front of the radiator.

CVF racing and Cold case radiator with electric fans... anyone running them?

Did you figure out a solution to your issue? I also am having fitment issues on my 71 GTX with coldcase radiator with dual electric fans with the CVF wraptor serpentine setup. Did you end up switching back to mechanical fans with pusher electric setup? Thanks for any feedback

Classic wheels that fit over viper style brakes

Again, thank you. And yes, I will be doing some carful measuring to get the tires tucked in those fenders. Making my bird handle is equally important as the motor making power.

Classic wheels that fit over viper style brakes

Yes, the torq thrust style wheel is what I'm looking for. I do like the raw cast look with the machined lip like e-t wheels though. I guess my biggest road block is not just picking out the wheel, but finding the brake clearance the wheel has and the space required for a stage 3 or 4 brake...

Thanks. I'll dig around on that site also. I spent some time over on protouring mopar.com but that site seems to not have much action.

Classic wheels that fit over viper style brakes

I actually did do this a while ago. He told me to just ask the wheel manufacture if their wheels fit cobra breaks. For some reason I can't get anyone to give me the dimensions of the brakes.

Also, this is the look I am wanting. Just need to figure what's that largest brake I can get in the rims.

Classic wheels that fit over viper style brakes

No, I don't own either the brakes or the wheels just yet. Trying to find a brake wheel package that fits together before I spend the loot. I do agree with you on the fact that the 11.75 will look to small on a 17 wheel. That brake setup really isn't something that I wasn't to consider. So...

    bearing splitter for 833 trans

Hey guys and gals, I am rebuilding my 833 4 speed trans and need to remove the main bearings from the shafts. I am having issues finding a splitter that fits behind the bearing. Also talked to a couple local trans shops to remove the bearings for me but they didn't want to mess with it. 2...
