No start - very weak spark

I can tell you that on my 69 Roadrunner it is the same as you would read at the battery while cranking, about 10.9V. The start position on the key switch bypasses the ballast to give your coil the full battery voltage for starting.

What is the general opinion of doing a 440 block .060 over?

Only item I have to question in the above in-depth informative article, even though they mention the testing of between 20 and 50 blocks being an adequate size test sample, it was mainly done on I suspect mostly rebuildable "survivor" blocks 50? years old, meaning the discarded/failed blocks...

    the daily rant

remove the hard drive, can be linked to another computer via cable as a stand alone hard drive not an operating system. Newer cars are stupid.

Electronic fuel systems for diesel engines have made it to boats. Not a good plan IMO. A salt in the air environment do not mix well. I have one bike and one truck with fuel injection. I like them both, the truck for winter starting. Chev V6. I have a bike with four carbs and manual choke (...

    If replacing alternator, which amperage?

My alternators, in the boat and in the van, charge the starting battery, plus the two 6 volts batteries connected to make 12V. I use a manual switch in the van, and and auto magic unit in the boat. Both have solar panels when for when we are parked. The E fridge is on all the time. I need to...

    Mopar better than Chevy

Many folks like the 350 Chev for many reasons. But changing the fuel pump is not one of them. Especially on the side of the rode when it is much too cold in February. Most hod rods around here have Chev engines. They are cheaper to get more giddy up. I put a 350 in my 57 Chev 3 ton.
