WTF is it with Subaru Drivers?

The lesbian discovery of Subaru ownership came by accident over 25 years ago. Pontiac was advertising that the Grand Am was the number one automobile purchased by women. Subaru was about to challenge Pontiac about the female ownership numbers then accidentally discovered it was a "lifestyle"...

I don't know if an Edelbrock carb is taller than a 4150 Holley, maybe that's enough to make a difference.

The adjustment should leave the pedal at the stop, the spring on the fork assists. Pedal could be too low to get full release of the pressure plate. If the pedal can flop around and move up, especially if there's no spring on the fork, the rod could pop out of the fork.

What is the general opinion of doing a 440 block .060 over?

No problem at all. I have 3 cars of my cars that are +.060 with no issues and a few other vehicles that have since been sold over the years. One has over 65,000 on it so far. All we're sonic checked before built.

    1967 coronet

TTI headers fit nice. Haven't used Dougs, but hear good things about them. I would avoid the Hooker 2" primary headers, but the 1-7/8" are OK. Been a long time (1990's) since I tryed some of the cheaper brands, like Blackjack and Headman, because of low quality.
