Don't put sealer on the bolt threads. You will hate it. Try different type of sealing washers, like a copper or aluminum, and tighten it up.
The oil plug is straight threads, not meant for sealing, that's what the washer is for. If you put anything on the threads count on it ending up inside...
I don't use paper gaskets with an iron intake.
You will see what's in there when you take it off. If paper tears then it's not going to work.
If the paper stays intact then try putting it back on the existing gaskets.
I'd try it and reuse the gaskets and see how it goes. If it leaks you will know it by the way it runs, then you can replace the gaskets.p if needed.

I don't like blocking the intake heat with a stock choke.

b-body mopars have 10x2.5" front and rear.
The aftermarket is superceding parts numbers and they are giving out either type of shoe for all cars. How about the mid 70's cars that get a hole instead of a slot shoe? They cannot put their brake lever in those shoes at all.
Contact Chrysler historical and get the IBM card. Just as good as a broadcast sheet only better. It tells you the dealership car was delivered to, a broadcast sheet cannot do that!

Stuff paper towels between the yoke nut and u joint to make sure that's where it's coming from.
If it is leaking at splines you can remove yoke, clean it and pinion well and use RTV on spline ends. Yoke wont come off easily next time though.
