PLEASE HELP!!! Heater box motor names

Revisiting this thread as I just installed everything into my 62 Dart. All the # and hose colors are correct, as described above, Red stripe Plunger side, White stripe Diaphragm side, etc. On my 64, used for the heater pics in this thread, and now on my 62, all actuators work great when vacuum...

What's it Worth 2 early 392 Hemi's plus extras - what are they worth ?

Watching early hemi stuff for a number of years, since before I bought my 58 Coronet. I have yet to learn enough, working on it. A 331 hemi sold locally here, running, 4 barrel, had an adapter with a Muncie 4 speed and shifter. The ask was $3k so it sold for that or less. My understanding is it...

Fan of that look, some may say I just have vehicles with that look cause I can't afford to paint them. Do I see tinted windows?

As predicted 6 cylinder turbos are not the future.

Checkout my plate. I still have it. Second pic mimics a period Good Year magazine ad. Third pic is a sticker that was on the a/c line, it has Trans Am 20th Anniversary on it. I checked 2 bone stock low mileage original TTAs and neither had it. I still have a bunch of TTA stuff. I have the Car &...

Bypass the Amp guage in my 69 440 GTX?

I did this on my 64: New 10 gauge wire with fuseable link from alternator to starter relay + post. Took black wire off alternator, shortened it, connected it to + on starter relay. Removed it from the ammeter and dead ended it. Black wire has splice in harness that feeds dash, lights, etc...

    Update on carburetor stumbles

How does that work with a manual trans? Serious question, jack it up and let it run in first, or is it load that is required?

    Fuel puking out of vent

Based on the pic, bring both the tank and sender vent higher into the trunk before joining. Filling the tank. I have efi, friend with the same exact car, factory original carburetor. We both cannot fill the tank completely full, it will puke it out. Imo, modern pumps don't allow one to...

As predicted 6 cylinder turbos are not the future.

I never took it back. The rules changed and the local track wouldn't let me run with a motorcycle helmet, which I borrowed. They even used to let me run with an 'expired,' if that's the correct term, motorcycle helmet. I didn't go into the engine, other than removing the aluminum block in the...

Anyone know how I can get a title in Pennsylvania?

NYS only has registrations up to 1973. Bought a car 73 or older, didn't transfer it into your name, and lost the registration? As long as you have a bill of sale and it has been over 2 years. Go to DMV and tell them exactly that, we'll don't say, it's been over 2 years, say it's been 8 years...

As predicted 6 cylinder turbos are not the future.

I had a '89 Turbo Trans Am for 20 years. TTA engines came with Pontiac heads, to fit under the hood, but also flowed better. Also came with factory headers, handled better, etc. Faster 0-60 and quarter mile than anything else on the market. Bought in 1997 with 30k miles, bone stock. Took it to...

    Clutch pedal position

The adjustment should leave the pedal at the stop, the spring on the fork assists. Pedal could be too low to get full release of the pressure plate. If the pedal can flop around and move up, especially if there's no spring on the fork, the rod could pop out of the fork.

Fitment question about ProCar seat mounting adapters for 1970 Charger

With the hump offset to the passenger side, my understanding is the driver seat has a little more space, but also does not end up centered with the steering wheel with their brackets. Majority of feedback, if not all, floor brackets suck, seats are great. Seats do look great. What ProCar seats...

    1960 Belvedere body type?

I have a 58 Coronet. These late 50s early 60s Mopars are covered on ForCBodiesOnly however there is definitely less traffic over there.

4 speed not able to get in any gear

I was attempting to look at it as what is spinning and when. Car is moving the input and output shafts are spinning, push in clutch, goes into gear. Engine running input shaft spinning, push in clutch, does not go into gear. Engine off, nothing spinning, goes into gear, this one seems normal...

As predicted 6 cylinder turbos are not the future.

Turbos are everywhere lately. How about an 8 sec twin turbo. Or a stock supercharged 3.8 LaSabre with a turbo that puts out 498 WHP and 626 lbs of torque. Or this honking single.

B body 2nd row seat ( wagon) back rest cushion question

Are you asking how to remove the upholstery from the rear seat back? I redid mine and removed the bolts holding the hinges on. Iirc, then removed the screws holding the metal trim around the edge of the seat back. I have pics on my PC, not sure how good they are, but all I have access to now...
