Here's another vote for the foot dimmer switch. Mine corroded over the years and the bad connection caused it to overheat and melt the connector plug which led to a worse connection.
I was a Chevy guy as they were easier to find and parts were cheap. But, I always loved the Chrysler look. '72 Challenger would be nice, but I have a love for the B body.
This Bee is my third Chrysler as I had a 1970 Roadrunner and a 1969 383 Bee. I finally found the one to keep when I got...
It had steel wheels with enormous snow tires on the rear. The left rear quarter was caved in from someone backing into it. There was a tank in the truck and a copper line that ran up to a manual valve in the floor in front of the driver's seat so you could switch from the factory tank to the...
Another vote for a different block. I've had my 44,000 mile A-12 hidden away for 30 years and am now in the build. For $400 I found another block so put my numbers-matching block and trans in the corner for safe keeping. There is a Tremec kit available to put a 5-speed in that includes...
That's sweet! It would be great as yellow. I'll always remember the car that sucked me in, when it was, where I was, and what happened. The neighbor across the street bought a new 1969 Roadrunner. It was yellow with black stripes. I was 7 that summer. I was sitting out front watching cars...
I found some formulas that calculate the flow. While they don't agree exactly, it seems that around 500HP-520HP is the limit for dual 2.5" I'd rather have more ability than needed, so have decided to go 3" all the way.
So, 2.5” and not 3”. I’ve heard 3” isn’t necessary until… and I don’t remember the rest. I’ll be running 512 cu in and am told that’ll be over 600 hp so am also wondering about exhaust options.
Thanks!!
Yes, I've stumbled across some but they're mostly very modern-looking. My 1969 Bee was purchased as a racecar and I'm trying to put it back close to what it was - but I don't like the ET Drag slot wheels that were on it. So, it need to look like something that was around in the...
What wheels do you have with that backspacing? I'm looking and only find things like Cragar SS 15x10 with 4.3" BS and Torque Thrust D 15x10 with 3.77 BS. I would need to narrow the rear to use those!
