Engine complete junk in this one. I found a 426 replacement with correct intake but the owner not interested. He wants a stroked 440. To my dismay he don't care about originality.

Radio cut. Ac has bondo in in it to fill the gap of the retrofit ac control. Other than that I guess ok. I used the knobs in the other dash. And moved the radio to the dash strip.

It kinda sucks. Lots of bondo work and recoloring (bondo) to match. They fitted an aftermarket radio in it and vintage air controls. I wouldn't use it. But I'm not a mopar guy. I don't know the availability of replacement parts.

You are prolly right. After looking at some of the images online, that str intake lines up. We pulling the engine tomorrow. Pretty sure it has a spun bearing. Prolly a clone.

No freeze plugs in the heads

He wants the slack in the steering out. I just learned this tonight after talking to him tonight. My thoughts are I can upgrade the box. I'll check for freeze plugs and markings.

I have no idea if it's original or a clone. It does have a max wedge 426 in it though with the dual carbs.

Unisteer seems to be the only company close to having a kit. The k member may get changed. Thanks

Rack and pinion conversion

Hi, Nice interesting project that was brought to me. Guy has a '63 "I think" 330 max wedge 426. He wants manual rack and pinion steering added along with the rebuild of the engine. I've been searching to no avail. I'm sure someone has done it before now. Any insight on what this is gonna...
