I purchased a set a few months ago from Summit. They were terrible quality. The SS was a brown shade not silver like it should be. I returned them and purchased the OER trim rings
Thank you. I purchased the pads from a local company that rebuilds calipers and M/C's. They are organic pads that he had sitting on the shelf for years. I didn't want metallic or semi-metallic pads. Didn't realize that were prone to cracking, thank you again for letting me know that.
I'm rebuilding the disc brakes on my 1970 Superbird. The only hardware that was left were the worn out pins. I purchased this kit with all the correct hardware. I assembled it according to the picture I have in the shop manual. Could someone please confirm this looks correct.
Thank you in advance.
I will paint them with "cast iron" spray paint. I would like them to look correct and not rust. Not a show car but I still would like to do the best I can.
Thanks for your help.

I need to replace the master cylinder on my Superbird. It has right facing ports. Does anyone make a replacement or will I need to have mine rebuilt and possibly sleeved. It looks like it has been leaking for years.
Thank you in advance.
Put my new tires and rims on today. 15"x7", I re-used the center caps that came with the car. They are very poor quality off shore pcs. Are there any good quality reproduction center caps available?
Should they be silver or grey for a Superbird?
Thanks in advance.
Probably is. I have a detailed binder of pictures that came with the car. The last owner described it as 4615 SA L2. Looking at the pictures it could be an 8. His documentation says 383 M/T Superbee 2nd week of December.
I would like to purchase a period correct, fully restored carburetor for my 440/auto Superbird. Where should I look or who would have one?
Thank you in advance.
