Super cool history! I always liked it as an automotive symbol. Simple but original.
Looks like a lot more people are going to get to see it, too.
Dodge Shows Off New Fratzog Stripe Package For Charger
From the inside through the glass roof:
Yea it's unfortunate. Calling the 17"s Magnum 500s is a stretch IMO. They really don't have much in common with the old ones. The spokes are totally different, as is the lip. Probably something to do with clearing disc brake calipers.
Must've been the same guy that installed mine. :mob:.
The guy I found that was able to fix it also used the 3M stuff. Gooped it in the windshield frame and all in the gasket groove and so far so good.
KYBs have their own personality. Some people love them, but many don't. I had them on the rear of my Charger and replaced them with Bilsteins after a few hundred miles. They felt bouncy and not linear like any other shock I've used.
KYB gas adjust shocks...
We've been in our house 7 years. Most bulbs were already LED when we moved in, and I replaced most of the others that weren't. We have probably 50+ small 'can' lights that are all LED. I've replaced 2 in 7 years.
Some of the other LED bulbs don't last nearly as long, but overall far, far...
Another thing that gets me is the ULTRA bright emergency lights on cop cars, ambulances, etc. The flashing just makes it 100x worse. Driving past one of them is like staring at a strobe light.
I'm all for safety, but when I'm blinded to anything else besides your emergency lights, it ain't...
I got 1 36 sq ft kit, plus had about 1/2 a box left from a previous project and was able to do floors, doors (partial) and the firewall. If you just want to deaden sound you don't need to cover every sq in of the car. Usually 50% coverage, focusing on the large 'flat' areas that are likely to...
I found this video super interesting. Lots of great engineering design insight. Especially fascinating all the tricks they're using to minimize turbo lag.
I went through this exact issue and had a guy come out and weld them up. I've done some basic welding on floor pans and such, but wanted someone with more experience on this job. When he left they looked good as new.
Not that you plan on using it often, but the D-window wheels look good and are affordable. Cragar or Bassett might have what you need. I couldn't find 17x7 but here's a 17x8:

I bought a bunch of seals and similar stuff from DMT for my Charger and everything was great. All of it looked pretty fresh. I've ordered stuff in the past from other vendors that looked like it had been baking on a shelf for years, definitely not the case with DMT's stuff.
