    Playing with this again today. What I can't seem to get or "see" is any sort of dwell or charging of the coil ? The coil should charge and hopefully saturate , and possibly see a limiting signal before the switch opens and the high voltage spike to fire the plug. Any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

    That doesn't make any sense.... if you had a voltmeter and you see your volts dropping what are you going to do ? VS You have the ammeter and it shows a discharge , both are telling you the same thing. Actually the ammeter would probably show you something is wrong before the voltmeter would.

    Careful of that lean spike at WOT. Bad things happen when You said it recovers quickly. But that still means there is a lack of fuel right off the hit. Make sure your accel. Pump is adjusted correctly. You may even need to look into a different pump cam. The AF meter is a great tool to have .

    Its a big job... I did it on my 68 charger about 10 years ago now. Have a thread about it somewhere . You have to unbolt the k Frame . It would make it incredibly difficult to do it with the engine in.
