Every little bit helps... your’s looks like a 70? I wasn’t sure if there are any extra brackets needed to hold jack in place. I haven’t yet welded in tire holder but I have a pretty good idea of general location.
Does anyone out here know how and where the bumper jack and stuff mounts in the trunk? I’m just finishing up a 69 RR ragtop that had a new trunk floor installed, so I have no reference points. Pictures of inside trunk area would really help, since I wasn’t the one that started the restoration...
Follow 69L48Z27’s advice..I installed mine in a 69RR two weeks ago, took about an hour by myself. Of course it’s a convertible so its easy working around top of windshield. I used urethane along the pinch weld on the bottom and sides and let it set a few hours before proceeding. Good luck!
I’m looking for the left large pot metal trim piece that connects stainless trim around rear boot. I will have it re chromed but it cannot be pitted to bad. Thanks
I think I figured it out...but would appreciate any comments. The picture shows the outside hinge for vent glass. One is molded as part of the chrome stanchion, the other is a separate piece coming from behind stanchion. I think that is for a drop top. I sent those to the chrome guy, so I will...
Hello, I new to the forum after picking up a 69 RR convertible that has been completely apart for the last 18+ years. The body work was all done, motor(383) was rebuilt, never run, and it just needed to be put back together. I plan to have it done by summer if I don’t run into any more issues...
