A 440 pulled from '69 GTX that has '69 Superbee 383 stamping. Same for 727 trans. But with same production numbers as vehicle VIN. The engine is clearly a 440. And no indication that it's not the original engine of the GTX. I've seen a single digit error. But this? I'm guessing someone screwed...
The obvious advantage of Rocker bar is more valve/head room. Disadvantage? Energy from a damaged valve train component can travel down the bar and effect neighboring cylinders. Chevy's damage does seem to be better isolated.

To maximize power from a rotating assembly of a piston engine? Wouldn't you get more power if the motor was up side down? Oiling would obviously need to be redesigned. But I believe we might be fighting gravity instead of maximizing? Rotary designs wouldn't matter. But that design has thermal...
I have a chance to pick up a '53 Red Ram hemi. 241 ci V8. I guess it's only 7:1 compression. Looks interesting. But of course "What to do with a baby hemi build?"
