Your problem is where the dim light is. Bulb, wires, socket or ground are possibilities. I suspect ground.

Yeah, I knew that was the case in this application.... But these clips are useful for all sorts of trim... You need to know the diameter of the hole the clip will be snapped into & the width of the trim... With that info I would probably use this contact form...
