I’m curious as to what products you guys use for installing water pump gaskets, oil pump gaskets, oil pan gaskets, and timing cover gaskets? do you put them on dry or use some form of sealant? Thanks!
Thanks for the ideas. .I can’t fit it under the battery tray next to the vacuum canister. .too tight there. .there isn’t enough room to mount it to the frame In that location.I’m trying to be stealthy so I may try to fab up some kind of bracket and mount it to the top of a bumper frame iron
Where have you guys hidden msd ignitions in 68 chargers? I love to hide them under the battery trays on my 72-74 chargers but my 68 has the headlight canister under the tray. I’d rather not have it in the interior unless there’s a great spot. Thanks!
I called sms and you may be on to something! Thanks a lot. I will be tickled to death if they have the original material! I’m waiting on a sample! No one else is making correct headliners for these cars yet!
The newer one I bought years ago I think was called a diamond pattern. .maybe it’s what they refer to as a tier grain. .im not sure what my original grain would be called from my old piece
Here are pictures of my original along with what I bought to replace it years ago. The color of the replacement is bright blue but my original appears to be more dark blue. .what has anyone else done for a headliner in a b5 blue interior car?
The color of the new headliner is supposedly bright blue. The old headliner appears more dark blue. What have any of you used that have restored a b5 blue interior car
Has anyone found a correct reproduction for the original style headliners in a 73 charger SE with B5 blue interior? Legendary has some new pembrook grain headliner available but they say that is correct for 69-72 cars according to them. Thats BS anyhow because my original 71-72 mopars have...
I'm putting a new headliner in my 73 charger SE. Its a factory B5 blue car inside and out. Who the heck makes a correct headliner in the correct grain and color. I see Non-perforated, I see perforated, I see pembrook (supposedly only up to 1972). Then i see medium blue, dark, blue, and bright...
i bought a fiberglass bulge hood off ebay back in 2008. not sure who made it as it was from a private seller. It fit pretty darn well. My body man only had to do some slight front edge filling to make my trim fit since i put it on an SE. Factory springs will not work. you will break the hood in...
Thanks for looking but yes the big block scattershield is what I’m after.sounds like a member on this forum has one that I’m going to go with, but if anyone else has a good lakewood 15330 I may be interested in a second one as well
It was hard to get a good picture since the car is in a dark shed. I think I bought it from partsmix in Tennessee. I’m going to have to ransack my shop to see if I can find the box and receipt from where I bought it
There is a heavy red wire going to the msd power box directly from a 12v battery hookup. .I’m no electrical genius but my thoughts are that maybe the digital msd board draws more juice upon battery hookup than the analog unit. .maybe I’m wrong in my thought process but I have cars with both...
