Been a while since I have posted. Here is picture from Maryland International Raceway last weekend. Lots of projects planned for this winter, so I will have to try to post as I get things done.
68SS, I used the Edelbrock spacer that's about a 1/3 inch think. Not really thick, but made a difference. That little bit led to a shorter air cleaner and a new throttle cable.
Guess I should have updated this post! First thing I did was add the spacer between the carb and the intake. It was definitely vapor lock. That made an absolute night and day difference that eliminated most of the problems. I also had the battery tested and had a bad battery, even though it was...

This afternoon car started up fine. Ran it up and down the road and came home. I shut the car off, and immediately it restarted. I then shut it off and gave it 10 seconds. Started right up. Waited 10 minutes, and then it started to act like it did last night with wanting to start, but after...
After I have driven the car, the car won't start back up. The engine is turning over, even though it sounds like it is slow because it doesn't want to "fire off" if that makes sense.
I have a '67 Plymouth Satellite, 400/727. I've had the car for about a year and this winter made some upgrades/modifications. The car had sat and was hardly driven last few years, so I just went ahead and replaced the entire fuel system after seeing how much junk was in the carb. It has a new...
I am posting this for my dad who is not a member here , but he has a beautiful '64 Sport Fury and is looking for the windshield washer bag and assorted components for it.
Your car looks great, and so do the wheels and tires! I really like the look of the Magnum 500 wheels. The previous owner had 275/60/15 in the rear and 255/60/15 up front with manual steering!
It is a factory AC car! I am actually looking to put AC back in this spring. Another one of the topics that the discussion boards have very informative for. I am fairly confident we will be going with the vintage air system as well as upgrading to the ergman/Borgenson power steering upgrade.
Hello Everyone! First I must say I have been a member for a few years, but did not look at the site too often as I didn't have an old mopar and it was depressing. After looking for over two years, I finally found a 67 Satellite in North Carolina. My son and I drove 5.5 hours down and a few...
