I plan to convert my 62 Savoy to power steering also. Initially, I thought I would go with a Borgerson set up but Borgerson told me because I have the 318 poly their conversion package doesn’t work. I’m now thinking I may have to try and locate an original pump and steering box have them rebuilt...
Thanks for responses, I am checking out chip guard and rocker guard, I think it’s the right way to go — i’ve seen it on a couple of cars. It’s not noticeable until you look close. It seems to provide great protection. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Thanks, everyone kind of confirmed what I was thinking about the height of the sidewall. UTQR rating of 400 is about as low as I found in a passenger car tire. I understand they go to 300 but I’ve never seen anything much below 400 did I miss something?
