Had similar issues with my 67. Gold upholstery and black carpet. Seems there was 3 different versions of gold for the interior: Seats, vinyl on the panels, and then the sail panels with the rest of the liner sections.

I have no idea what size the orifice is for the return. If it is 1/4" with no orifice to reduce the flow, you will end up starving your engine. If it were me, I would use the the correct PN......this one
You could try the aftermarket stuff. they are cheaper for sure but sometimes you end up...
Didn't they have trouble with those distributors? Didn't Rick Ehernberg write about MP Mallory distributors in Mopar Action that they were troublesome.
I agree as long as its safe. There’s a reason oems have used hard lines almost everywhere. I don’t know if OP has hard lines from fp to ff but was just putting a bug in his ear.
Not that I like exposing my cars to risk but if you are gonna drive them there's always a risk... Actually there's risk even when they are hidden away.... It's a shame your windshield got taken out but look at the bright side, it's just the windshield... Get out there & go for a drive...
