What's the best way to clean out the freeze plug water jackets on a big block?

They might tell you they do, but when it comes out it will be rustier than when it went in. That's the last 3 shops I used. I even asked the last guy, "Do you use caustic"? He said yes. $100 thrown away. Before leaving your block ask to see something he just did. I guess they don't use the good...

Polish for chromed plastic parts such as grilles?

Lemon Pledge dusting spray would be mild enough for something like that and would polish well and leave a nice appearance.

    Mopars in France

I was recently in France, and while driving on the highway from Lyon to Dijon I spotted from afar what appeared to be a familiar silhouette. I was amazed as I got closer to see a 68 Dart Dick Landy tribute.

    Broadcast sheet question

This car is waaaay new for me to be guessing at... I was hoping that someone who actually knew something would chime in - barring that, I'll surmise: The M55/Y37 T-tops had to be a relatively expensive option - standard to no price-class. I think that, default, you'd have to go in and order that...

    Craigslist

Another thing have noticed is, with Craigslist you eventually have to make phone contact with your trading partner. This seems to generate spam/scam phone calls. I believe it has to do with getting on people’s contact lists which are not secure. With facebook marketplace you can communicate...

Doctor Diff Viper-Style 13" Front Disc Brake Kit

My first Viper caliper has arrived - O'Reilly's could not get the rebuild calipers they advertise on their website. I got on eBay and found a pair of OEM calipers. Pricey compared to the Cobra calipers, but mmmmm . . . Viper logo. That said, I'd prefer these be gloss black with a gold...

    70 Rocker Moulding Clips Ford?

If I cut a piece of sheet metal one and three-quarter inch, then it should slide in the channel and lock in. And with a clip like this, it should be press fitted into that hole and lock in as well. This would be a very simple one cut one weld for each part. heck I could even fab them and sell...

    70 Rocker Moulding Clips Ford?

The problem with used parts as they won’t exist for this part. What I mean to say is you have to destroy them to take them out. That old plastic is brittle as hell and won’t hold either. If you do get one out that’s not destroyed.

    70 Rocker Moulding Clips Ford?

I don’t think by itself that will work as it has to lock into the rocker moulding as well as the hole. I was thinking of a sheet metal piece that slides in the rocker moulding channel and welding a door panel clip to it. It’s strong and easy to fab and all metal and snap fits.
