Yes, I bought mine directly, put it in with hybrid coupler etc....and have a small slop at center. Checked and the movement is in the box.

Cap, I answered your question in post #34. Look at pic #2, it shows the 1/4" washer I added to bring it in line. As I said, I quizzed Peter about this back in 2014 and thought they fixed the issue back then.

If it was I, Borgeson would be the choice. We installed the complete set up in a 64 Dodge station wagon. Drives great. Very impressed. I am saving to do the swap on my 63 Belvedere.

My only criticism of the kit is the directions.. in the small block kit it doesn't show where spacers do and they are pretty self explanatory except 1 washer... had to pull the whole pump back out to put in one washer... still not 100% happy with belt alignment but i'm sure it's my fault.

I used the Borgeson on my 68. I simply collapsed the main shaft then re-pinned it. No cutting.

You could always let this snowball and buy a whole borgeson kit from Bergman Haha
