    Lower Radiator Hose Spring

Does anyone have a good line on where to buy lower radiator hose springs? Also, I understand what they do, but has anyone noticed their lower hoses actually collapsing? I am wondering if the new hoses are maybe stiffer than the old ones? I know some have the thread intertwined in the hose for...

Thank you. That could be something. I didn't have any other theory so that's one.

    Understanding Thermostat Temps

I run a 160 thermostat, mopar performance pump (seems identical to a stock one, just aluminum), stock radiator (but might have been altered to 4 core, I believe stock was 3), stock fan and shroud, and fan clutch (I might remove the clutch). Also have the all in timing set to 35 degrees. Pretty...

When you say swirling around, is it not doing that at idle? Or just at throttle?

    Understanding Thermostat Temps

Hello All, First off, just want to say I've read a bunch of threads on this forum about thermostats, how they operate, and what everyone's preference is. I am not looking for an argument to start up (which seems to on everyone thermostat thread), but I am still wondering a few things: 1. Why...

    4 Post Lift Installation Recommendations

I've read through other posts, especially this one: 4-Post Lift Recommendation Those were very helpful in regards to four post lifts. Besides choosing a company, the next issue is getting it delivered and installed. I've seen some people mention companies will ship it to a depot, and you can...

Clutch adjustment advice (for a hack)

By spring I meant the clip. I’ve seen some clips not fully engage into the plastic bushings.

Clutch adjustment advice (for a hack)

It was talked about here with the torque shaft and it's bushings being good, which I agree is a good thing to check. I've noticed on some new replacement kits, that the springs that locate the bushings don't always line up with them. What's the point of these springs that go on the outside of...

    Garage Floor Finish

Thanks guys! I went with a slightly rougher concrete finish. Gives me options on what to do with the floor now. Still working that out but I'll relay what I decide to go with!

    Garage Floor Finish

Thanks guys! To answer what the space will be used for, mainly parking but I will be doing maintenance and things like that in the space. Won't be doing dozens of engines, but basic maintenance with jacks and jack stands will occur. Probably just a few engine builds at most. I do plan on...

    Garage Floor Finish

Hello all, I am going to have the concrete poured in my garage next week. I want to coat the floor (once it's fully cured) and was wondering what others have done. I've heard of: 1. Smooth finish and sealing the concrete 2. Epoxy sealers 3. Polyaspartic sealers I've gotten some quotes for an...

    Wheel spacers

If you’re still using the existing studs, I believe it’s ok. From my understanding, the fear is when you use the studs that are on a spacer and not through the hub itself. Because then the load is distributed onto the studs vs the hub itself.

    Removing an A-833 trans

Thanks for all your help! Went well! Does anyone have any pics of a manual trans crossmember? I’ve put it back both ways, and one way the rubber support bushing didn’t line up right, and the other way the cross member doesn’t line up right. Of course I forgot to take a pic before taking it...
