Yes, I just noticed that after quote LOL.
That pattern should be about correct for RHT(LHR) cars. But I’m not sure if YEARS AGO, the sealed beams were being sold with this different pattern depending on the diff side of the road meant to be driven locally. I can’t recall for example diff...
That is actually made with diff lenses side to side but not by aiming headlights. I guesss the diff aim procedure side to side could be made on the days headlights were “universal” for all cars being same pieces for both sides.
I can’t tell what the manual says, but the colors there are the right ones used on all Mopars, matching the standard applications for each wire.
Blue with eyelet, +coil up to 69
Purple with bullet angled terminal, temp sender
Big eyelet with black 12 gauge wire, alt.
Purple wire coming out from...
Red and Gold Reflective Rallye Stripes were a separated option for SEs on 74 thought. So you can find an SE with these reflective Rallye stripes but that doesn’t mean you get a full A57 package
I’d say the brown takes the place of the purple wire on diagram. Rest of wires matches with diagram
I’d even say, you are looking at an aged purple wire which could turn out on a brownish tone. (I feel like that on your picture)
About your pre-purchase list:
Hazard switch and turning switch are same assembly since 1970.
Dimmer switch… you meant floor high/low beams selector? That has nothing to do with turning/brakes or anything into the column, just headlights switch related to headlights (not even with parking or...
Not 440, but still big block and even more, SE (not a base model)
1972 Dodge Charger SE 400
certainly, it needs body job and some other fixes, but… 13K the max bid?
It seems I’m not totally wrong
There is ALWAYS exceptions for sure… but on the average price rate… I think I’m not blowing away...
Sure… as I say on previous words of that phrase… againts 71 R/Ts and 72 Rallyes (BB). On same conditions and similar trim as posible when you put side by side any 71/72 Big Block againts a 73/74 Big Block, the 73/74 will be lower on the price rate… anytime!.
And not just big block, also small...
He hasn’t read correctly my post. I’m talking a regular 318 which is the average Charger 73/74 Rallye won’t reach the 30K rate ever. More into the lows 20Ks. So the average Charger owner is not prone to spend a lot of money for their restos.
Sure Big Blocks will be higher. Never said they...
This is my suggestion.
Dual fan system with a secondary fan which will work as soon it gets the second temp range (per your own temp sensor selected range) AND ALSO when you turn on the A/C. Also the second fan will be turned on by the override switch on dash in case of emergency.
Of course...
Led lights won’t really need relays. Fan does thought.
I can post a diagram I have made as a suggestion to make work a dual fan system with an automatic temp sensor switch, without using a control module system. And using an override switch with a light which works as a pilot light knowing when...
Fuse link won’t burn with a short on battery terminals. Even if it was with engine running I found really hard that could happen. MAYBE with a long time short? But still.
Aside this, with a fuse link blown, the car won’t even crank IF the electrical system is still unmodified with some weird...
@PhoenixGraphix I’d really like to know if we still can keep alive the hope about get a more correct set made. Honestly I don’t care about the MOST PERFECT MATCH to the Pantone chart on the darker red and lighter yellow (of course the best match as posible, same for the copper and gold sets)...
what bulb are you using?
Correct one must be 1004 which is one contact single filament. This bulb gets the bulb base isolated from filament since both poles are fed by the contacts. This is like that because the dome light is triggered via ground. So bulb filament must be isolated from chassis...
Neither enlarged… my comment was a joke since is just an optic ilusion by the pic.
I understand some tweaks to the body, but not THAT kind or size of body/shell mods
