with a mostly stock build it won't make much power over 5200 rpms. the good thing about 413-440 they make their power down low. with 410 gears it will defeat the purpose. highway driving it will be at high rpms and not very pleasant. yes the only intake worth putting on is the rpm performer.
probably would help the bottom end a little. the good part is you should be able to run regular gas. ok the 209-213 has 467-476 lift on 110 LSA with 106 centerline should be good.
thinking 205-209 or 209-213 at .050 must be on a 110 LSA to keep the torque with that 8.5 compression. the 8.5 really bothers me. I would like to get it to 9:1 or 9.2:1
it seems like it does not affect oil pressure unless it exposes the oil holes in the crank journals. must be a reason the factory wanted 9 thousand-17 thousand clearances and not 250 thousand like at Nicks.
would you want it in your street car ? you think it would be noisy plus it would side load the pistons against the cylinder walls. effect ring seal maybe.
when running good it picks up 4 tenths and 3.5 mph. they say you need 17-20 horsepower to feel a difference in a power gain and I feel a big difference when running good. I would say 35-40 HP more.
