Yes, and the sheet metal style has a tab that locates in the hole of the end of the leaf. Use a Visegrip to fold the ends over and hammer them flat.

I do not believe you will need to change the link. The alternator may be larger output but I see no reason it would supply any more current than the OEM unit if you have not taxed the system with additional current demand.

That should be a math problem. I believe all 4 locations are on the same circle so, if 3 locations are 90* apart, the offset location should be solved with geometry/angle calculation.

If the cam was bent how did the builder rotate it with his fingers when initially built? Was top end lube checked at first prelube? Does anyone know rpm at max power?
