This gear is split. It can be fixed properly and permanently. Do not pour glue in this to try and fix. It needs to be taken apart to fix correctly.

My '14 Grand Cherokee Summit came with factory HID projector beam headlights (D3S bulbs). After 110k miles...they were getting dim. The bulbs can build up a residue on the inside of the glass, from all the heat in the gasses inside the bulb. Think... smoke. I put new HID bulbs in a couple weeks...
