Before I pulled the mount and tank to clean, I poured atf in and hand turned. It pumped fluid and made a mess.
I cleaned the tank and mount, no rust or dents. I'm sure you would want to do the 2 orings, but front seal should be fine.

The concept that a 5 blade fan moves more air than a 7 blade makes no sense especially when you have seen fans on pickup trucks that appear to be fitted with 8 blades. A truck engine is used to tow and haul, two things that will overheat an engine if it isn't moving a lot of air.

The other pic is what I think a new one is from Dr Diff.
The hole I see in the new block does it act as a hold down bolt as well as vent for the rear end ?
If not what does the cap on the block do ?
