How to find engine numbers on possible 66 block to see what size engine it is.

"F" for 361 is on the VIN plate; this example show "H" which in '66 meant a Hemi. "B" stamped into the engine ID pad for a 1966; "36" stamped in for a 361. If stamped, these and the other numbers can be lost as @Vaanth states if the block had to be decked/milled down for whatever reason This...

    1969 GTX

Would you happen to have a pic of the speedometer? ..and some of the interior in general? Does it have AC?. Maybe a pic of the fuel line(s) that exit the front frame? - or a few engine bay pics? Did you receive a good and valid title with this car? - I'm not aware of this configuration ever...

    Broadcast sheet question

This car is waaaay new for me to be guessing at... I was hoping that someone who actually knew something would chime in - barring that, I'll surmise: The M55/Y37 T-tops had to be a relatively expensive option - standard to no price-class. I think that, default, you'd have to go in and order that...

    So who's into tractors

My F1206... I first got it - around 2002. Cab had to go - too loud ("Year-A-Round" I call Ear-a-pound"). Got it cheap because it needed the trans rebuilt. Sitting next to it is my original F450 I bought around '94 (with crappy Paulson loader, but better than nuthin'). Made a lot of "idiot...

This Oil Pressure sending switch look correct?

    True-dat. Do you have your broadcast by chance? This is the info I have for 69 383s colors based on assembly numbers. It's as accurate as I have, -which ain't sayin' nuthin'! :) 897 - 383 4BBL, man, A/C, 330hp, Turquoise 1969 899 - 383 4BBL, auto, A/C, 330hp, Turquoise 1969 900 - 383 4BBL...

This Oil Pressure sending switch look correct?

That one is a straight-up switch...it does only 'on' or 'off'; it runs a warning light only. If you have a gauge (with a needle and pressure graduations), you need the larger variable-resistance sender. I think these are the part number? 2495222 3486609

    1969 440 HP block

I don't know - they don't seem uncommon. With the odds so slim any of the items in this forum will be reunited with their original "stuff", you've probably got your builder. Once in a blue moon, there's a successful re-connection here - makes the trying all worthwhile to me.

    1969 440 HP block

I suppose we can only guess at the balance of this mis-stamp. I'm pretty sure Lynch and St. Louis built Coronet R/Ts in '69 - not sure if Los Angeles did also? Early October '69 engine build...couple months worth of production into that point - could the VIN be missing the 1st digit...

    1970 Coronet Pictures...deluxe,4dr,440,500,wagon,rag or R/T!

Top blue one is - WL41 4-door based on window shape/plain tail panel. (I think they overshot on jacking that one up.:) JMO) This one is an illustration that presents as a 440 (for the most part); narrow 1/4-scoop trim plus wheel well trim. Looks like they drew a 4-door/wagon type of upper door...
