I installed one in the garage about 17 years ago. Been a staple ever since. Have another one in the shop that hasn’t been installed yet. But I plan to!

Catching up on Fred's ignition tune-up, discovered some odd stuff - help?

...the gap in there and some actual rust on the plug tip and wire terminal. It was hell separating boot from wire as well - wonder if even using the 45* boot didn't give adequate clearance from the header? The terminal is not salvageable, so... Point of curiosity #2: Anybody got a nice long...

My daily driver 67 Coronet wagon

Got the spindles on. Tie rod assemblies on. All of the castle nuts got their cotter pins. I tightened up the lower control arm shafts, then backed them off a bit. Need to back off the uppers, do that tomorrow. Caliper mounts on with loctite. Greased up all the new joints. Got the plumbing done...

    68 Charger quarter panels

Boy this subtle little crease line has been a challenge but making some progress. It will look like hell if its not perfect and I will always stare at it every time I get in the car. Switched to black primer and figured out that running a piece of chalk along one side, then sanding up to the...

    Carb for a street/strip stroked 440

You didn’t mention that the engine has mo vacuum advance. You don’t want to change the cam I can understand that. But you might be able to tune up some street manors with a vacuum advance hooked to a manifold source. Ask around I’ll bet money there’s somebody nearby that can tune that Holley up...

My new stock stroke 400 build

I took the car out for a cruise today. It is better but not cured yet. The heater is working consistently now. It didn't get as hot, but the temperature still climbs when cruising. When I turned the heater fan on high, it started to drop right away. That tells me the issue is with the rad...

Brake cleaner works or a soak in your carburetor cleaner bucket. They could also spiff up after cleaning with a trip through the blast cabinet. Mike

    Bendpak MD6XP lift….anyone use one under a B body?

My 9000# Rotary was the best $2000 I ever spent. I have used it for 22-23 years now and it was old when I was high bid at the defunct Chrysler dealership auction sale. One column was over a load bearing basement wall and the other was supported by an old screw style press, the precursor to the...
