If someone was going to replace regular steel fasteners with lightweight stuff (aluminum/titanium), where you would put the lighter fasteners? Keeping in mind that aluminum/titanium are not as strong as steel in the same specific size.
I am considering 3/8 aluminum tubing for the trans cooler lines. A904 trans, manual valve body built for drag racing. Does anyone know if Aluminum will be a problem? I could get steel line, but Aluminum is much easier to work with.

Has anyone here had any experience with Torco brand torque converters? Good/Bad? I am contemplating one of their 2500 stall converters for an A904 transmission. Seems to be fewer alternatives for the A904 when compared to the A727.

OK, I have a 'race weight' fiberglass hood for my 65 Belvedere. Any suggestions for the best location (and number) for installing hood pins? I will be adding a 65 Hemi scoop to this hood before I install it and I don't want it blowing off or breaking from air pressure. I prefer to use hood...
