As mentioned, the goofy wrong stripe. But if you look closer at the lower valance and corner caps, they look a bit off. No license plate bumpers is a small detail that is skipped.
Cheapo replacemnet floor pan with no body plug holes. Also, notice the bend on the bottom of the quarter panel...
That kind of $$$ would buy a real nice driver '66-'67 B-body. Too bad you are stuck on a '68 Charger, as they are so expensive. I like the looks of them, but they are waaaay overpriced! As soon as you pay $35,000 for a roached roller, you are going to be upside down in this project, especially...
Hi all.
Got a 66 Coronet convertible I've been putting together for the last couple years.
This is my first convertible, I've got a couple questions on the top, and the boot.
I've got a brand new boot to install, question is, does it stay in the car with top up-- folds down and sits in the...
Thanks for posting list.
Out of curiosity is this your assembly procedure or a factory one?
Just wondering if there is a known list of assembly plant line procedures?
IE,work station #1 preformed this duty.
Work station # 2 preformed this duty? Etc,etc. on down to completion?
This is my 67 Coronet Convertible. It has bits and pieces from different mopars. 1969 Coronet Super Bee side scoops, fiberglass work done to fit different shape of quarter. 1970 Cuda' Fish Gill rocker mouldings. Since the Cuda has shorter area between wheels, I grafted 2 pair into one, since...

Doug Winslow is Legit.
I bought stuff from him years ago, he is a member of maybe more than one group. I have NEVER seen a complaint about him since I bought parts in 2004, and maybe before. If he says he is sick he is legitimate. There are others that are not on B bodies that would vouch for...
Real WS23L car. Runs/drives (runs off portable gas tank in trunk). Fender tag ,no build sheet. Factory red, black vinyl top with white bucket seat, console car. N.O.M. F440 (8/69 dated, non HP block). 67' 915 heads, stock intake, carter carb., aluminum water pump, mini starter, open headers...
Hey all,
I'm looking at a 66 Coronet 500 hardtop and it is a pretty unmolested car for the year, but I noticed there is no trim on the trunk lid or trunk extensions. Just the DODGE letters on the trunk. I have been searching and it appears every 500 I look at should have the trim panel that...
Actually... the spare tire goes in a well by the right side quarter panel. My ‘68, RH46 has a hinged door and a trunk under it, where the 3rd seat would be. I like that better than a 3rd seat but I can understand others wanting it.
For those who will be attending the upcoming Carlisle show in July, we will be bringing a limited amount of carpet and trunk mats to these shows. Please call or email by Friday afternoon, June 17th to confirm your request. This will be freshly cut and molded sets that will make for a much better...
Very cool that you have a broadcast sheet for this car! There is a lot more info here than what is on the fender tag. The first couple of rows are some of the main appearance info for the car along with the VIN - paint colors, etc. Lines 3-6 are specific parts that are supposed to be installed...
Thanks! Here's the list of all mods that have been completed.
Mods:
Front to back------ Front bumper sectioned, shortened, turn signal rectangular holes filled, recurved to fit the new fender noses and to hug the sheet metal. Also enlarged the center license plate cut out into a ram airduct...
These will be the ugliest 66/67 cars posted in this thread but they're not ugly to me. Been collecting parts for over a year. And finally getting ready to start working on them.
First up is a 66 Coronet 500 361 console auto. I'm new to body work so this is the car i'm going to be "learning on"...
