Are these original Mopar nuts and bolts?

The bolts/screws look authentic, the Tinnerman nuts were used on more models than just our Mopars.

Are these original Mopar nuts and bolts?

These are the nuts and bolts that mount my OEM fan shroud to the radiator. The nuts are stamped "CIP" with "GR-5" underneath. The bolt heads have crosshair dashes casted at the 9:00, 12:00, and 3:00 positions with some kind of a Y-ish symbol at the 6:00 position. Thread size/pitch is 1/4-20 NC...

Looking for my 69 Road Runner Vin# RM23H9G289944

I have tried every which way possible for over 10 years trying to find the Mach1 and have not had any leads at all on it so yeah I agree that finding it is going to be about as hard to do as hitting the lottery, especially since he got rid of it around late 1971. I just happened to find the vin...

At what point did NEW lifters become junk out of the box and were.......

Lubrication may not be the issue in the majority of cases but it is worth attention. I put a '528 solid in my 440/493 in 2014. It had the Howards EDM lifters. For years I ran Royal Purple, then Valvoline VR1 with a bottle of Comp Cams break in supplement. Early 2022, I switched to a synthetic...

Local muffler shop or online kit for 67 Belvedere w/ 318 and factory exhaust manifolds?

I'm lucky in the fact that I have a local muffler shop that I can tell what I want, and come back in a few hours and have exactly what I was looking for.

For all of You Train Lovers

It's used not just for tie replacement, but to lift and level. Those four gray/silver vertical arms near the center of the machine in the photo that Coronet-Arch posted are used to thrust into the ballast on either side of a tie, then they angle inward on all sides, compressing the ballast...

    Cheap, Fun, Camaro!

I had a '95 Camaro 6-speed LT1 with a lot of Lingenfilter parts when the kids were little. It had an open Borla exhaust. When my kids were little, I'd put them in the back seat, and the rumble made them go right to sleep.

I can see how in a movie that’s how they take out two guys with one bullet in some contrived manner.

At what point did NEW lifters become junk out of the box and were.......

I agree, lubrication is not necessarily the issue. But for peace of mind, I modify the lifters as shown in post #34.

You made this distance.... ....In 4 days ? Really? THAT is impressive. That is a 575 mile per day average. Each year, the wife and I go to Arizona around Christmas. That is 780 miles and 12 hours one way. We start early and get to Scottsdale in the evening. It isn't the most fun but isn't...
