ok i know this is gonna sound crazy but it would appear that the fluid in the rear break reservoir of master cylinder is moving to front brake reservoir. i converted years ago to ssbc front disc and kept rear drums. they sent me a new mc with the kit listed as from an A body with 1 1/32 in bore, it has worked fine for years. it has a small leak in the power booster so im in process of replacing it. today as i started the project to replace the booster i looked in the mc and the rear brake reservoir was empty and front overfilled. put the car (68 charger power brakes) on the lift checked everything absolutely no leaks anywhere?? so i added i little fluid to rear, took some out of front reservoir and pumped the brakes 30 to 40 times and sure enough the rear went down a little and the front up a little. i’m guessing if i kept doing it it would eventually all end up in the front reservoir. since the two circuits are isolated how can this happen? i put on a new distribution block a few years back so it’s fairly new. it seems to me that block is only place other than mc where the 2 systems are close to each other. anyway i would like to understand what’s up before replacing the booster and having same problem. any ideas from the experts appreciated.

ok thanks guys so i guess it’s the 2nd piston cup allowing fluid to bypass and get in front reservoir. if both were leaking i should have seen some fluid around mc. appreciate the answers as always great info here!
