I guess that someone could disconnect the return line and watch how much fluid comes out of the hose.
No matter what, if the fluid contacts the exhaust manifold or header I would not want to be around that.

Old school DP4P was an over the counter part in 70/71 that’s the aluminum version of the cast iron intake. I run a Torker Edelbrock but the air filter is a Moparperfirmance K/N and a lot shorter than the factory Fram CA305. Good clearance with my factory air grabber set up. Key was the 383/400...
Ok, it’s not hitting on the driver side. Only in the passenger side. That’s with the suspension hanging. It’s hitting on the bottom of the control arm. I tried to take a picture, but a caliper just fell on my phone and damaged it.

This was just a guess. You would think bolting on front fenders would create a ground at some point but the engineers probably figured it was cheaper to add a ground wire rather than having BS warranty claims 'cause the marker(s) don't work.
There weren't even bullets for that gun until I bought some when I was 20 something, I think took one bullet and removed the slug and the powder and put the shell with the primer in the gun just to see if it would fire at all.

If you hit it, you can pull one of these cars completely apart in a day (a lot longer to put them back together), drive it and collect the parts to restore it. Just finding the parts will take a while and you'll bond with the car if you drive it a bit. I've done so many cars that I built from...
