So I have put my whole dash back together on a stand I made. Can't find the power source for the yellow wire ( 3" long ) that operates light above the ignition switch. Looked on the wiring chart I have for a 69 Charger 500, R/T and SE. Am I blind? Also the wiring harness for the 4 speed console...
The connection at my fuel sending unit on new gas tank and the wire from the old main harness are not the same. Can I splice a basic washer “circle” shaped type wire connector to the main line from harness and call it a day? I’d be concerned about sparks and fuel…
The sending unit is a screw...
Awwwww
In addition to being such an asset to our community, Jim was friendly and personable...just a pleasure to be around. An increasingly rare gem in today's world, he will be remembered fondly.
:thankyou:
I'll take it, even after all that abuse...
Badassery for sure...
maybe in a green
if I had the extra $100k :BangHead:
I still love em', like the 69 Charger 500 or Daytona Chargers
more then I want to spend, in retirement
Yes right. What I see is that I can get continuity when the shifter sits between N and R. Like it’s a contact alignment issue.
I tried getting the switch out of the trans but it’s very difficult to get at. Any idea on the size hex it is? I can’t get an adjustable wrench in there.
Nope, but a couple of people in my life have been encouraging me to get some kind of modern firearm. For SHTF purposes, I'm not even sure where to start to do it all on the up and up but it can't be that big a deal I'd imagine.
