    Suggestions for stock clutch

That center spring assists on pedal at last half of throw. Too much for the Centerforce thus needs to be removed. But it also assists on the last half of pedal coming up. Why many of us have the clutch pedal sagging in the throw after conversion to the diaphragm and spring removal. Without...

    The '68 Charger in Christine.

He was the only talent in that movie. Arnie's gf and best friend were horrible. Steven King movies typically don't attract Hollywood top actors. Only the "Shining" that I can recall bucked that norm. What's funny? The novel "The Shining" was not all that entertaining. IMO. So where is this...

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

This getting older SUCKS. Back from cataract surgeon consultation. Dual lens replaced scheduled for next month. Bad eye first. Currently at 20/500. Other eye 2 weeks later at 20/200. Murphy has me dead in his sights. (I think? If I could see him?)

Do YOU go 3 or more days between showers ???

Very rarely going 3 days with no shower. Especially recently. I'm not out in the deep sticks that just didn't have any options. And a mountain climbing expedition I'm not seeing in my future. Lol

    Question about a Dana 60 Vs 8 3/4

Yes. The spooled setup in an 8 3/4" is certainly tough enough for your setup and HP estimates. As well as be lighter with less rotating weight loss. But be wary if you do much street driving? Careful around corners. One harder press of the gas pedal will kick the back end out and into the ditch...

Robert Redford won't be down for breakfast

I was amazed how old he was. He played many younger roles than himself. RIP

For sale locally on Craigslist 1. You either have the daintist lady in the neighborhood? 2. You are Liberace gay? Or 3. You have one set of giant brass balls to drive this thing around?

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I'm fully expecting to be sporting your one eye look in the very near future. I've been joking with family that I'm hoping the Doc's office at least let's me keep one eye? The push is all to be able to get a real ID for end of year travel plans. And what's in the way? There is no way I will...

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Today? Failed miserably on eye exam for possible Lasix solution. (Right eye in particular.) One is cataract removal needing first. And hopefully vision improves enough to even have a Lasik option. Again, nothing sexy about getting older.

Well Google is on to me with tool shopping. My feeds and even here are loading up with "How about our Tools?"

We discussed that a bit. Owing the man. I hope his selling is not to just settle up that debt.

    More tools purchase.

Just spent $1k on Snap On tools from a retiring mechanic. He is battling health concerns, thus paid what he was asking. Which I believe was very reasonable. Bought all his wrenches. (Which are in better condition than expected. With some newer, and as you can see from pic. Some older) Plus...

    Traded.

Yeah. One does have to have the mindset that you're a target. What I've learned on 4 wheel classic car driving? "Hold your line!" On the highway it's one's lane. Just as a road or circle track race driver. Most Problems I've seen are the results of sudden or unnecessary lane changes. Even if not...

Plans for your car after you die

This subject matter does get me thinking. I'm looking into a living will. Where all hard assets (like classic cars, tools, parts, real-estate among other items) that are not readily liquid for dissemination, will be listed. Most liquid assets like Retirement, 401k, bank accounts have noted...

Plans for your car after you die

My girls guys are opposite. Me and the boys are helping with their car woes all the time. I think my daughters are addicted to project types. And not mechanical. But intrapersonal.

Plans for your car after you die

My kids are semi into cars. The boys do a decent job with support to my many drag racing efforts. But I can't get them to take a seat in the driver's chair. WTH? Had my dad had classic muscle machines that needed driving? I would still be living at home. Even with his long time passing. My...

Plans for your car after you die

Not my problem. I'm dead. It's my kids problem. I'm sure they will sell. The only possible exception is the B-body GTX. But their call.
