The Elephant In The Room: unloading the load from a B-body.

Understood about the fair weather use - it will never be wet again now that it's painted. WV has safety inspections every two years for antique tags and I didn't want to get in a predicament where some LEO had a bad day and took it out on me and my car. Sure it's unlikely but wouldn't it suck...

So, what is going on here?

...360 crank] in the mid 80's. I had to get a half set of the bushed W2 rockers and pushrods from him due to the oiling holes in the shafts being 90* off from where they needed to be. Factory screwup, Lee told the Chrysler engineers about it, but never got fixed. Anyway, to answer your question...

1969 Super Bee...worth restoring? Or make it a driver?

I would drive it a couple of months to enjoy but mainly to see where any deficiencies / gremlins are. The numbers matching makes it worth a restoration in my book and if the engine has had a quality rebuild you are way ahead. I have a 69 Bee, numbers matching, 4 speed with factory air that I...

Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

I just have the old screw in sockets but I replaced the light bulbs with the 4 section LED's. Bought them at Menards for $5 each. Nice thing is that they are adjustable. I have them in all 3 garages now. Something like these.

    Some people's children, I swear.....

I had slapper bars 'Lakewood' adjustable traction bars on a 68 Charger R/T, yep had worn out HD leaf's, it was a Super Shops, cheap fix ($100 maybe 1976-77) (the adj. pinion snubber I bought, wouldn't fit, without lifting the car, & it rode on the thing constantly on the lowest settings...

What do you think of these rims on a Charger?

.1-3 month backorder though. Would need to put something else on for the rest of the season. I do have some other junk I could run.

    Is your job boring?

What's even funnier is that I still occasionally have to deal with them at my job at a "stand alone" county entity. ...and my "internal" email doesn't work. It's ben "reset" four times and still doesn't work. If they would let me talk to them, I could point them in the right direction, but they...

    Is your job boring?

I do not have time for a day job, but I did work full time for 52 years. I also have no motivation for a day job. It is possible I will get most of my retirement jobs done this winter. The ticking sound in the mighty 318 is one of my winter chores.

    Is your job boring?

My various jobs have gotten boring over the years. But when it got boring I made it interesting by learning stuff or developing stuff, or moving on. My current job is very interesting to me since I developed most of it, and there’s always something to improve. Things I still can’t stand...

    Is your job boring?

Funny. My old job did go in the toilet after I got canned by new management for not having a degree. That county government entity supported a workforce of 10,000 people. Every now and then I run into someone that I helped support with IT. To the person, every single one of them brings up the...

1969 Super Bee...worth restoring? Or make it a driver?

Shame they did it the wrong way by doing the topside first. Looks plenty nice enough to drive. I’d find a way to seal that bottom up with something to preserve it and let it go at that. You will be wishing you’d just bought a finished car once you tear this apart and see all the time and money...
