The Elephant In The Room: unloading the load from a B-body.

The car can be a weather vane by only coming out in fair weather as far as the wipers are concerned. Lots of cars are out there in the wild including this one with a roll bar. Roll cages are a whole other animal and a pain with all the blind spots along with entering and egress issues.
Understood about the fair weather use - it will never be wet again now that it's painted. WV has safety inspections every two years for antique tags and I didn't want to get in a predicament where some LEO had a bad day and took it out on me and my car. Sure it's unlikely but wouldn't it suck to have all that money sunk into it and not be able to drive it?

FWIW my Duster has an inspection sticker from 2009 LOL

I had trouble seeing around the bar, had to back into the water at the local drag strip (closed now), and didn't have a helper. I put up with that for 3 or 4 T&Ts, then gave up.

The last funny part about the conversion is the guy I bought it from said he sold all the parts they took off (seats, intake, etc) in a yard sale. Akron must have been a unique place at the time.
